Welcome to Loughborough Town Cricket Club

Founded in 1896 loughborough Town Cricket Club is a successful amateur club boasting under 7's, 11's, 12's, 15's, 17's & 1st and 2nd teams. Regardless of age or ability new members are always welcome -please call Barrie Wakeling on 01509 216466 for further information on club membership.

Senior and junior summer training with fully qualified Cricket coaches takes place on a Friday evening followed by 'Quick Cricket' for the junior teams and occasionally during the summer months barbecues are held adjacent to the pavilion which prove to be very popular.

During the winter months junior nets are held at loughborough Grammar School on Saturday evenings while the Senior teams train at Loughborough University as and when Cricket facilities are available.


July 2007 saw the opening of loughborough Town Cricket Club's purpose built club house and pavilion.

This superb new facility is now available to hire, providing the perfect location for that special occasion.

The centrally heated and double-glazed brick building is equipped with the latest audio-visual technology including satellite television with large format widescreen HD LCD monitor, DVD player, electronic projection screen and Broadband internet access. Also available is an easel based magnetic dry wipe whiteboard for more traditional presentations.


Sumptuous soft leather sofas blend with striking modern furniture in a tasteful neutral colour scheme offering a warm and inviting

ambience for visitors.


Wind down and relax with a drink from the well stocked licensed bar serving both draught and bottled beers along with a choice of wines, spirits and hot and cold beverages.
